About Pro Motocross
The AMA Pro Motocross Championship is the top outdoor motocross series in the U.S., sanctioned by the AMA and run by MX Sports Pro Racing. It spans 11 rounds each summer on natural outdoor motocross tracks. The conditions can be brutal and it tests the endurance of every rider on the track.
Two main classes compete:
- 250 Class – Emerging riders on 250cc bikes
- 450 Class – Elite riders on 450cc bikes
Races are held at legendary venues like RedBud, Unadilla, and Hangtown, with two motos per class each round. The series feeds into the SuperMotocross World Championship.
